What is the Body?
"The body is a tool to experience the physical realm."
It is important to develop and intimate relationship with the body.
The body is a temple, a sacred vessel to navigate life."
Becoming intimate with the stories of your body including birth and death. Understanding that I am my body and not my body.
The physical, spiritual and emotional are all the body which is constantly changing. The body determines the amount of power in your life. It is a temple of importance - also carrying ancestral traumas and markers of nutrition and ancestry.
When the body is anxious - listen.
And, ask: what is your body wanting?
My body expands and contracts as I move through the cleansing of traumas. These layers of protection indicate a sacred time of healing and clearing. It know what to do on deeper levels than my mind or societies current ideas of the body understand.
Our bodies are animated by the same force that moves tides, creates lightening and opens a flower.
When we are at home in our bodies, we are connected with our feelings, thoughts and our aliveness.
Our aliveness includes both our pain and our pleasure sensations.
Disconnection from the body and defaulting to the mind only may be the result of wanting a control which allows us to overwrite our instincts and intuitions.
By coming back to the body we come back in touch with our deepest insights and a deeper understanding of wellbeing. It allows us to drop our emotional armor and cultivate relationships with deeper body systems. This helps us to find unity and connection to our aliveness and the wisdom of our body.
