YOGA
Our bodies are powerful. Giving yourself time to open and release is deeply healing.
I teach three kinds of yoga:
Bikram Yoga
Here is a great video overview of what Bikram Yoga is and some tips if this is your first time, and here is an overview of the postures, each of which we do twice: Bikram Yoga Here. We will be doing the 60-minute version of this class.
On Fridays at 7:30 a.m., I teach Bikram Yoga at Rise & Refine Hot Yoga.
I offer private 60-minute Bikram Yoga sessions through Rise and Refine Hot Yoga. These can be booked any time that works for both of us. ($100/session)
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that involves holding poses for longer durations, typically between three to five minutes or more. It focuses on the connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, This practice encourages deep stretching, release and relaxation. If you’d like to learn more see this video.
Here is a 10-minute yin yoga stretch for you.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow-paced yoga practice that uses props like blankets, bolsters, and blocks to fully support the body in poses for extended periods, promoting deep relaxation, stress reduction, and mental calm. Unlike more active styles, it focuses on passively releasing tension and allowing the body to nourish, quiet the mind, heal, and find center.
Here is a 15-minute restorative yoga experience for you.
